I remember when this was all fields.

I’m not sure at which point in my childhood I decided that when watching anything, if given the choice, it’d be with subtitles. Maybe it started in the days when I wasn’t so lazy that I’d actually prefer reading books to watching Tool Academy.

I’ve lost count of how many friends and loved ones have loathed me when watching a scene on which millions of pounds and dozens of man hours have been spent in which a CGI dinosaur bursts into a million pieces with the atmosphere somehow ruined by the big thick black bar down the bottom reading;
